Farideh has a track record of delivering high-quality services in both English and Persian, and has acquired a wealth of clinical experience with international client groups both within the NHS and private sector. She has experience providing care for adolescents, adults and families with mental health challenges and emotional needs, committed to working with clients to facilitate and achieve long-term change.
After achieving an undergraduate degree in Psychology with first-class honours, she went onto complete a postgraduate degree in Affective Disorders, receiving a distinction for both her clinical work and research. She later went on to be awarded The Centre of Affective Disorders Most Outstanding Research award, and commenced working in specialist settings, with a passion for providing accessible care for minority groups.
Farideh is an advanced-stage trainee Counselling Psychologist. She is registered with the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), a member of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and is working towards her Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) regulated practitioner doctorate in Counselling Psychology.
