Frequently Asked Questions
What happens after your initial enquiry?
A 15-minute telephone consultation will be arranged to warmly welcome you to our clinic. During this consultation we will gather some basic information regarding your needs, as well as your aspirations and goals for therapy. We encourage your active collaboration throughout the entire consultation process, and as we establish how we can work together moving forward. If you are happy to proceed, we will then organise your first appointment which will consist of a formal assessment with the clinician who will support you throughout your therapeutic journey and time with us.
Who can access support?
We provide therapeutic interventions in both English and Persian, and work with adolescents, adults, couples and families. You can self-refer and contact us directly, or may also be referred by another healthcare professional such as your GP or psychiatrist.
At Harley & Chelsea Private Therapy we believe in providing equal opportunities and addressing disadvantages in accessing care. We offer reduced-fees for those with lower incomes, and take your social/economical status into careful consideration. For further information, please contact us directly.
Payments & Fees
Your initial telephone consultation is free of charge. Fees for your assessment and continued appointments thereafter range from £100-£200. Your clinician will send you terms and conditions prior to your first appointment which will detail and confirm payment information.
How long is each therapy session, and what is the cancellation policy?
Assessment appointments and all sessions thereafter will last 50-minutes. We will always prioritise your care and accommodate your needs should you need to reschedule or cancel your appointment, however, all cancellations within 24-hours will be charged at full rate.
